Frequently Asked Questions

Where are sessions conducted?

I provide in-home sessions, bringing all necessary equipment, including a portable treatment table, to treat you in the comfort of your own space.

What should I expect for my first visit?

During your first visit, we'll review your medical history, symptoms, and goals. You’ll receive a thorough examination, movement assessment, and personalized treatment, along with education to help you manage your condition. The focus is on creating a treatment plan that works for your body and goals.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an "out-of-network" provider, meaning I do not work directly with insurance companies. This allows me to offer more personalized, one-on-one care tailored to your specific needs, without being limited by insurance restrictions. While I don't bill insurance directly, I can provide you with the necessary documentation to submit for potential  reimbursement.

Do I need a prescription or referral?

No, you do not need a prescription or referral. Massachusetts is a direct access state for physical therapy, so you can see a physical therapist without a physician’s approval.

What is trigger point dry needling?

Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN) is a treatment where thin, sterile needles are inserted into tight muscle areas, known as trigger points, to relieve pain and muscle tension. It helps improve blood flow and reduce stiffness, often providing relief from conditions like muscle strains, headaches, and chronic pain.
